The buildings of the Olympiapark currently have a wide variety of renovation needs due to the time of their construction and the time pressure of completion. After the renovation or replacement of the steel girders and the renewal of the fastening and repair of the natural stone plates of the architrave, the replacement of the glass elements and the renovation of the interior ceiling of the hall could be carried out. As a result, it was possible to use the slender forster unico profiles with a 30 mm construction width and a 20 mm glass protector. They have the same overall view as the glass-dividing transoms with 50 mm and thus provide a great deal of transparency and lightness. Due to the proven stainless steel grid of the forster unico profiles, the specified static values required for these large glazing elements with an integrated door could be achieved effortlessly. The elements were filled in with a double-glazed insulating glass.
